Solid Waste builds on the access of the EcoComplex to the Burlington County landfill. Several demonstration projects are housed at the center, which utilize methane gas generated by the landfill. Additional proposed initiatives in solid waste management will assist the state in achieving its recycling goals, sustainable landfill objectives, green purchasing mandates and reduction of food waste.
