Renewable Energy
Renewable Energy combines our expertise in both agriculture and environmental science, and is an ideal fit with the EcoComplex mission. With the passing of the 2005 Energy Bill, $12.4 billion will be appropriated to energy research, including renewable energies. Renewable projects underway at the EcoComplex include bio-diesel, ethanol, hydrogen, and biogas. These initiatives will help the state fulfill its renewable electric energy goals of 20% by 2020.
These presentations were made at the EcoComplex during the On-Farm Alternate Energy Conference on February 28, 2006 and have been made available for your convienence.
