Hume-an Nature, LLC., is a new company dedicated to agricultural sustainability and applied biological research.  Based in the state-of-the-art Rutgers EcoComplex and with the assistance of University personnel, the company has the distinction of being the only Certified Organic hydroponic grower in the Northeastern United States through its new creative growing methods.  Hume-an Nature will continue to innovate agriculture by utilizing the most modern technology and ecologically conscious production methods to drive innovation. Hume-an Nature is currently working with several organic companies and local markets to provide products to consumers.

Hume-an Nature will focus on improving current crops for human nutrition, medicine and novel plant products through classical and modern breeding techniques.  The company will also serve as an and organic seed producer and distributor.  This will be done in a fashion that will preserve the genetic diversity of our world and conscientiously exploit the resources and possibilities known and not yet known in nature.
