Carbozyme, Inc. is an R&D company headquartered in Central NJ.
Carbozyme is in the final development stage of its state-of-the-art carbon dioxide [CO2] separation and capture system. The patented design employs high efficiency, low energy liquid membranes to capture and separate CO2 from a wide variety of gas streams with special emphasis on flue gas.
The most important of the many potential applications for this technology is the capture of CO2 from electric power generation flue gas stacks. This is a fundamental technology for combating increases in greenhouse gases and thereby mitigating global warming.
Carbozyme will utilize an office and conference facilities at the Rutgers EcoComplex as its business center for seeking industrial partners to participate in the development and commercialization of their cutting-edge technology.
