Koach Energy Corporation is performing preliminary startup studies at the Rutgers EcoComplex on their Pilot Plant that converts 2-300 kg/hr of rubber tires into petroleum, carbon, hydrogen, methane, metals and a small amount of inert material. Their process combines pyrolysis with gasification. They will initially perform purity testing of all by products and well as evaluate performance characteristics of the system. When successful, Koach Energy intends to scale up this unit and construct a 5 TPD commercial facility.
